  命の 実 と善 悪 の知識の 実   創世記 2:8-9 「主なる神はエデンの園を東の方に造り、そこに、ご自分が形造られた人を置かれた。地からは、目に美しく、食べるのに良い木 々 が生えていた。園の中央には、命の木と善 悪 の知識の木があった。」   善 悪 の知識の木とはどういう意味でしょうか？文字通り善 悪 の知識を可能にする木なので、この木の 真 の姿は聖書であり、モ ー セの律法に 対応 します。   律法に目を向ける心は、善にも 悪 にも向かうことができます。律法は 613 もの規則から成り、神はイスラエルの民にこれらの規則すべてを守るよう命じました。そして、規則を守れない時には、いけにえを捧げるようにと命じました。   「律法を善とみなす者」とは、律法を守ろうと努める中で自らの罪深さを悟り、いけにえを通して 来 られるメシアを深く考えるようになった者たちのことです。彼らは信仰の預言者の中でもごく少 数 でした。それゆえ、彼らは命の木の 実 を食べるに至ったのです。命の木の 実 は、復活の命を象 徴 しています。信仰の究極の目的は、復活の命を得て神のもとに 帰 ることです。肉 体 に囚われ、神から切り 離されている者であっても、イエス ・ キリストにおいて復活の命を食べることによって、神と一つになるのです。   「律法を 悪 とみなす者」とは、律法を 厳 格に守ることによって神の義を得られると信じる者たちのことです。彼らは律法主義者と呼ばれ、イエスの時代のパリサイ人や律法 学 者たちは律法主義者でした。彼らは邪 悪 にも、神の子であるイエス ・ キリストを十字架上で死なせたのです。   彼らは善 悪 の知識の木の 実 を食べた者たちです。善 悪 の知識の木の 実 を食べる目的は、神のようになれるという思いで食べることであり、その根底には貪欲という偶 像があります。   したがって、「律法と呼ばれる聖書の言葉」を善を追求することによって追求するとき、それは福音へと 変 容し、命の 実 を食べることへと導きます。しかし、この言葉が律法主義へと 変 容すると、人は善 悪 の知識の 実 を食べる者となります。律法に 関 して分...
